In recent years, Aurora Winery has earned important certifications, attesting to the quality of its products and its commitment to the environment. These certifications are given by Det Norske Veritas, a classification society accredited by Inmetro, based on precise and stringent assessments.
Aurora was the first winery in Serra Gaucha to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification, attesting to its qualification in development, production and processing of wine and other products.
It was also the first in Rio Grande do Sul to receive ISO 14001:2004 certification, in July 2006, attesting its Environmental Management System.
FSSC 22000 Certificates
The Aurora Winery also has the FSSC 22000 – Foundation for Food Safety Certification, for the food safety management system, which guarantees the quality of the products made by the company.
The FSSC 22000 was created based on the food security standard ISO 22000, adding requirements of good production habits and biovigilance. More than this, it harmonize specifics requirements settled down previously by manufacturers and retailers in the world, making is easier to certificates companies to sell their products to different customers.
